Product deception, low-quality merchandise, and a limited selection of tier 2 or 3 brands were typical. The possibility to buy modest quantities of retail-ready products was almost unheard of. In addition, if you were “lucky” enough to win one of their auctions, you could expect to pay an additional 7-15% “buyer premium” for the opportunity of purchasing their garbage inventory.
